Our u16 Boys and Girls teams will be proudly representing Starlites Basketball Club in the upcoming 6th Memorial Cup 2025, organised by the Malta Basketball Officials Association (MBOA). This annual tournament brings together some of Malta’s top young basketball talent, honouring the memory of past officials while promoting fair play, development, and sportsmanship.
Tournament Format
- Both the Boys’ and Girls’ competitions feature 5 teams each.
- Teams will compete in a round-robin stage between 15th – 21st September 2025, with the top 4 qualifying for the semi-finals and finals on 8th December 2025.
- Round-robin games are 2 x 20-minute halves (running time), while semi-finals and finals are 4 x 10-minute quarters (stoppage time).

Supporting the Cause
The Memorial Cup is also a fundraising event, with donations collected to support charitable causes. Entrance is set at €2 per day, covering the full day of games.
